Default advertising that your are armed

I got thinking of this after reading a few posts where people have said that during traffic stops the police have searched their vehicles based on a sticker that in some way advertises firearms or that you may be a firearm owner.
My question would be who has a sticker on their vehicle that would indicate that you may be a firearm owner and who does not.
Part two would be why would you or would not put this on your vehicle.

To answer my own question, I do not have anything on my vehicle as I would prefer not to give anyone an indication that something may be in my vehicle.

I do not have any stickers on my vehicles at all...I don't like them on cars.

The only advertisement that I'm armed is if someone happens to notice the gun strapped to my hip.

i do not have any such stickers on my vehicle or home.

to me, they are like a giant neon sign advertising to criminals "get yer free, untraceable to you guns here!!" especially if you are like most people and have a fairly predictable (via observation) daily routine.

Talking Re: advertising that your are armed

People with NRA stickers and Firearm Company Logo stickers are usually a good indicator that the people owning the vehicles are armed. Its personal preference for the individual in my opinion. As for me no stickers no open carry ect. I prefer that no one know that I have a firearm on my person or in my home or vehicle. The less people know the less apt to be stolen.
Oh ya I forgot about the "Tuff Guy" type stickers, keep honking I'm reloading, ect. ect. They are the brilliant saying made up by the guys who got picked on in school. They're for the type guys who.....?? Well I'll leave that alone, thats a whole different thread. In short if you advertise expect to get questioned.
And no the police have no probable cause to search your vehicle because you have a sticker affixed to it. That being said, they have every right to ask if you have a firearm in the vehicle. I personally always advise the police that I am armed, and thus far I have never been harassed by the "Jack Booted Nazi" types.

    No stickers here.

    1) Don't like stuff on my car(s)
    2) Don't need strangers knowing I'm into guns
    3) Makes my vehicle(s) more observable - and I prefer inconspicuousness

I have Harley sticker, NRA sticker and biker safety sticker on the rear window of my Silverado. I don't store weapons in my vehicle. But I show my appreciation and loyalty to groups I support.(Advertising) No PAFOA sticker on the web, is there?

I have never had my vehicle broken into. I also tend to nod to other trucks, cars that have a NRA sticker or other gun reference. (Not the dumb threatening ones)

I don't know that I am advertising I am armed, as advertising my allegiance to a couple of great brands!! (Even if I happen to be armed)

I do not have any stickers of any kind on my vehicle for similar reasons given by the previous posters.

    Best regards,

    Mike
