    Default Blackhawk CQC whatsit

Picked up a Blackhawk CQC for my soon-to-be Springfield XD. In the package was this little doo-dad. What is it for?

OK - care to elaborate? I see the spacer kits on their web site, and they are nothing like this. This is maybe an inch square with no holes - only the little notch on the one end.

My holster for my USP came with one. I suspect its a spacer for the holster to maintain its shape in the event of the packaging getting crushed. If yours was just loose that would mean it just fell out of the holster upon shipping.

    I threw mine out

Its a spacer for shipping, you dont need it, throw it away and enjoy the holster.
