Default No weapons at Jubilee day.

In the little news paper last night there was a listing for jubilee day thursday. One of the rules is no weapons. This happens on main street in Mechanicsburg. Isn't that a violation?

Is it being held on private property by a private group or individual or is it being run by the local government?

Sounds like a preemption violation to me.

The OP stated the event is held on main st, which would seem to be public property. The way I understand it, if it's being held on public property, it doesn't much matter who's running the event. I could be wrong though, it's happened before.

oops i missed the main street part. yeah if it's on public property theres nothing they can do to prevent you from carrying. you're good to go.

Rules don't matter to the politicians. You should know that by now...

They are going to have to dis-invite one of their scheduled performers, The Smokin' Gunz!

This post makes me wonder about Renziehausen Park in McKeesport - specifically they have an International Food Festival and open air concerts in the summer....
