Twenty-three AGs tell Holder no dice on semi-auto ban renewal
Gotta love this ,,,,,, And I quote,
http://www.examiner.com/x-4525-Seatt...to-ban-renewal
"As the states’ top law enforcement officials, we share the Obama Administration’s commitment to reducing illegal drugs and violent crime within the United States. We also share your deep concern about drug cartel violence in Mexico. However, we do not believe that restricting law abiding Americans’ access to certain semi-automatic firearms will resolve any of these problems."Gt

Hate to be a glass-half-empty kind of guy, but 23 out of 50 doesn't make me feel anything but disappointed. Also, it doesn't really matter what these AG's think. If the federal government passes anti-gun legislation, there is little the states can do.

Re: Twenty-three AGs tell Holder no dice on semi-auto ban renewal
Perhaps in and of itself 23 out of 50 State Attorneys General sending this letter is cause for being disheartened , but when their position is added to the 64 Congress critters , plus Heller , plus the push for re invigorating the 10th Ammendment , plus the " Made in Montana " and other similar laws being passed or drafted ,plus the recent ruling in Nor**** in Cali regarding incorporation of the 2A, on top of the mountain of evidence from studies done by the Clinton Justice Dept that the AWB ban had NO effect on violent crime , plus the testimoney to a Senate Sub Committe by several high ranking and well respected police officers across the Country that " Assualt Weapons " have never been the problem their portrayed to be , plus the sound trouncing the Dems got handed after the '94 AWB , and that all adds up !!
Think of the letter as just another piece of the puzzle , making it harder and harder for anyone to credibly justify bringing back another ban . Granted the MSM is doing everything they can to supress the information and protect their boy king , but the MSM is losing credibility daily .
Im far from ready to relax , and frankly I wish Pelosi , McCarthy , Feinstein and Schumer would just STFU and go away . But we still have a TON of ammunition to beat them over the head with . This letter is just another round in the mag !
Im telling you , some PSA's run on You Tube highlighting all the lies that have been told regarding guns in general and EBR's and carry by civilians have a real chance to go viral and be a nail in the coffin of gun control . The environment is ripe for it , NObama and the uber liberal Dems are vulnerable and distracted , we just need to take advantage of it !Si vis pacem, para bellum

I feel the same way but we have to keep up the pressure in fact I'm very far from letting up at all. That’s what the Libs are waiting for, their waiting for this rush to blow over so they can start moving against the Second Amendment. I know their waiting for another tragedy to happen so they can pass more anti gun bills and ride the wave of emotion felt by the American folks when these things happen. The Libs of this country are nothing more then vultures waiting for an Opportunity to start pecking away at our foundation of freedom. I think most people are slowly catching on to their bullshit agenda for power over this country..
