Re: Question about carrying in your car
Pretty much always on me, unless I am going on a long drive-say from my house-to MD-to VA and then back again or up to the mtns for some fun: then it gets clipped to the map pocket (thanx knight..drew a blank on that) on my door (my paddle holster fits nicely in it) or in my center console.

Re: Question about carrying in your car
All of these apply for me:
1. On my person.
2. In the console.
3. Under the driver's seat.
4. Tucked under the rear bench seat(truck).
5. Map pocket on door.
There's usually a gun in the truck whether I am carrying on my person or not.

Re: Question about carrying in your car
Now, I never carry in a vehicle where the firearm is not attached to either me or the vehicle (preferably me). After barrel-rolling a vehicle into the woods, I realize the importance of keeping "things" tied down.

Re: Question about carrying in your car
I drove for the first time with my Beretta 92 on my hip...it was a very uncomfortable five minute ride. I need to fancy up a quick-release system so I can quickly and readily disconnect the holster from my belt without actually taking off my belt, so I can leave it on the seat or in the console.
