M1A, Sage stock, field stripping?
Received the Sage stock for my M1A yesterday. Supposedly a simple drop in procedure to switch them out. NOT! I guess my mind must be too complicated for such a "simple" task. Read through the directions and ended up dropping it off at Montrose Sporting Goods for the install. Guess such things are best left for more experienced and agile minds than mine Oh well, am looking forward to seeing the finished project in a week or so.
Was wondering now if all this will increase the complexity of field stripping the rifle?
Things don't seem as clear now as they did when I carried an M14 in the mid-sixties. "What a drag it is getting old."
