MSNBC is starting to sound like they're the man who searched for years and found a virgin to marry, only to discover that women used to be a whore who had reconstrucive surgery to rebuild her hymen.

After they've been diagnosed with gonorrhea.
And I've been saying this ever since the Bush admin put this shit into effect...This shit will not magically stop when the WH changes parties. It is change though...as far as the letterhead on the stationary goes.
At least there is a lawsuit in the works.

You'vw said it, I've said it, plenty of people have said it, but the truely scary thing is how many people still believe the Change message and are pushing for more and more of the same because this time the PotUS is black, or a Democrat, or a good reader . . . er . . . um . . . speaker.

Re: This is really Change and transparency
And what a grand opportunity blown. This is exactly the shit I hated about Bush: Secret meetings, wiretaps, warrantless this and that...A guest list almost seems like child's play...
But he couldn't even do that.
There should a lot of pissed of Obama supporters this morning, lol.Last edited by CarolinaGuy; June 16th, 2009 at 04:46 PM. Reason: guesT list

Re: This is really Change and transparency
Tell me about it..
There were so many good things that I liked too. Little things but really said something.. Like that pin BS.. A Flag pin does not equal Patriotism.. He called it out for what it was, and that was a big thing for me. It sounds stupid I know but it was just refreshing..
Not to mention how he handled the whole Rev Wright thing with an intelligent statement about race relations.
Even a month or two into his administration he was still appearing to holding on to that type of spirit. Sure he was still a politician and I expected some a decent amount of bullshit. Promises not kept and pulling back on the pie in the sky ideas..
But dayum.. He is still better then Bush but that's just the difference between you dog crapping on the floor, or it having diarrhea on the couch..
It's almost like..
(searches for tin foil pirate hat and eyepatch and puts them on)
It's almost like once he got into the oval office he found some unknown guy in a 10,000 dollar suit sitting at the desk, the door closes behind him and the man in the chair lights up a cigar and says "Congrats on your win, now sit down and I'll tell you who really runs things here and how we're going to make you go along with it"...
Hey, wait a sec... That's a really good movie idea..

Re: This is really Change and transparency
Well, think outside the box. Mr. Obama plans on staying for 8 years in that mansion and his daughters will be how old by then? If I'd be him I'd try to slow down that sort of "public record" right now as well ...
JanSo long and thanks for all the fish.

Hrmm..
I'd understand them removing any personal visitors regarding the children as a possible security leak, (example : You don't want anyone to know the daughters math tutor's name.. They could find her and use her for some type of plot.. Yes the Secret service does think about this stuff.. heh)
But any official business is clearly within the public's right to know..

Re: This is really Change and transparency
That's more or less what happened. The Boy King showed up on day one and started discovering the Real World. All his pretty words and lofty speeches meant exactly two things ("jack" and "shit") the day he was coronated. Someone with some experience and real world savvy would've known that, but this man-child has neither.
