    Default Old Savage .22 rifle - $60

    ***Sold pending funds***

    Tube-fed bolt-action.

Basically, the walnut stock is in good shape, just kind of dull. The blue on the metal is mostly intact, but the whole thing would greatly benefit from a refinish. The nickel on the bolt handle is wearing. The rear aperture sight is complete, but the front sight needs to be replaced - someone in the distant past braised a brass post onto a dovetail and popped it in there. It should have a hooded ramp on the front, which you can get from Brownells.

The bore is in very good shape, and the action is smooth. It shoots well. I just have too many other projects right now.

Overall, it looks like a typical 60 or 70 year old gun - used, but functional. Would make a fine restoration project. $60

I live north of Pittsburgh and can meet face-to-face in the area.

I'll get some pictures up later tonight.
