XD45 Compact - Seen one?
I think I'm going to go with the XD45 compact for a carry gun.
Went to Targetmaster and they didn't have any. Anyone seen one in their travels to local gun shops?
Opinions: Good pistol to carry for someone my size (skinny dude)? I plan to go with an IWB setup.

Re: XD45 Compact - Seen one?
No personal experience with it, but I love my XD40, and have heard tons of good stuff on the XD45compact. My roommate is a skinny dude...and boy can he hide anything. Your guys' clothes just hang off your body the right way. He has been carrying his S&W 325PD 4'' revolver (.45 ACP) at 1:00 iwb totally concealed, and he isn't even wearing extra big clothes.

Here is a pic of my XD 45C beside a XD 40SC and a full-size 1911. I have a Comp-tac IWB and it is easily concealable even in just a T-shirt

Seen one, have one, love it. Try King's Shooters Supply. I was in there last week and IIRC Roger had at least one at the counter. They're in KoP.

I'd highly recommend the Don Hume 715 IWB holster for $22 it's the best leather holster you can find.

Re: XD45 Compact - Seen one?
French Creek Outfitters in Phoenixville had a XD45 last week when I was there. Easy to get to from West Chester too. http://www.frenchcreekoutfitters.com/ Haven't shot a XD45, but my friend's XD9 is a great shooting gun.
You called down the thunder, well now you've got it!

Re: XD45 Compact - Seen one?
Thanks guys. I'll be getting it sometime over the next couple days. Will post pics and comments after I get it to the range, which should be immediately, now that I'm officially without girlfriend...again. More time for shootin for awhile, I guess.
