Atleast it doesn't look as bad as the one's for the Glocks. Still, it will add some width to the grip, so I'll pass.

I like the beaver tail and will definitely put this on my XD45 Tactical (bedside defense), but not my XD40SC carry. I don't think it would fit into my Comp-Tac Infidel IWB.

I think they would be better if they covered the entire grip. 3 finger groove style like the model on my beretta. that style in the pic looks fugly imo. Besides I just bought truglo tritrum night sights so I probably wouldnt buy them no matter what they looked like.

I believe that you and I are definitely on the same page. Definitely for the XD45 TAC but no way on the 45C.

I wonder if they could put finger grroves on the front strap? Now that would be ideal.

Does it have the grip button to turn it on or do you have to flip a switch. I liked Crimson Trace due to just grabbing the grip and the laser came on. But it said it had a master on / off switch.

Look at the the grip very very closely. You'll notice a very small button where your middle finger would be on the grip.

    - Front Activation

    - Positively locks into place with a single pin on the beavertail

    - Production models will be textured, details not yet finalized

    - Leaves the key elements of the XD safety, trigger, and grip untouched

    - Will fit both 9/40 full size and compact models

    - Features a master on/off switch
