    Default Colossimo's

I work 3 blocks from this place, so I figured I go down and check their ammo selection, well they didn't have any, I was dissapointed to find they only stock Remington ammo for the most part, also some Federal hollowpoints, which they were selling for 35.00 , I was like ,I'll be back later, and they had this attitude like thanks for nuthin, kinda cold, my regular shop wouldn't treat anyone like that, to this day I have not found a shop in the city I'll do business with.

several years ago when i was teaching at temple i stopped by collisimos just for the hell of it. i've never seen a shop with such high prices in my life, prices so high they were way over MSRP. i saw a ruger p90 for 699 and other pistols that usually run in the 500-600 dollar range were in the 600-800 dollar range at collisimos. i couldn't get out of there fast enough and it's beyond me how he stays in business.

The goofballs that protest his business give him free publicity/advertising. He dosen't have to pay for it.

This place is an absolute rip-off. Range time is exhoribitantly expensive, prices are ultra jacked up, they seem to cater largely to the police dept across the street. DO NOT GO TO COLISIMOS.

You're not missing anything, trust me!
I went there today while getting an oil change nearby ad when I inquired about a box of .45acp, the guy told me $41.95.
    $41.95 for a box of .45 ball!?!

When I seemed shocked he said, "don't go to Cabela's...dey is $50 there"

I honestly have no clue how they stay in business.

I'm not to keen on SPAG either, a couple times I went in there and I asked about either the Speer new short barrel load and the old F.B.I. load ,the 158 gr. lswchp and they looked at me like I was retarded, so that blew me off and also wanting $50.00 for a glock 23 mag was a little ridiculous especially when I found some for 15.00 at American Arms and ammo.
