    Default Hit & Miss engines

Anybody into old hit & miss engines? I drug one home some years back and its been taking up space ever since. Some of the parts are missing and its froze up. I'm not going to ever fix it up so I might as well get rid of it. Anyone have any interest in stuff like that? IIRC its a IH, 3hp.? not real big, but more than you want to pick up by yourself. Can't do pictures but if you ask I'll try to answer any questions.

it'd be nice to have, but shipping, and the fact that it'd end up just being another unfinished project here......

If God didn't intend us to have guns why would he have given us a trigger finger?

I never heard of one either but it turns out that I've seen them around.

I used to be into all sorts of engines, hit&miss, steam, dust diesels, petro, diesel, etc, etc..

If you want to off-load that engine, the Cool Spring Engine Show between Punxy and Brookville is the place to do it if you want to make some money. There is also an engine show at the Jefferson County fairgrounds once a year.

I'm sure if you can free up the engine, you'd get a few more bucks out of it.

It sorta looks like this one, only not in running condition. Mine's missing the electrical parts. They can be a bit pricey. I don't want to start messing with it and break something and make it worse. Maybe I'll try the Portersville steam show this summer. I'd like to get $100 out of it.
