uspsa "safety" from holster question
when can you flick off the safety in uspsa ? as your drawing, like while my hand goes for the gun in holster can i switch it off as i pull it out of the holster? or does the gun have to be completely out to switch the safety off

When you draw you bring your strong hand up with the gun and meet with your weak hand around chest height. As you press the gun forward towards the target you flip off the safety. This way the gun is pointed in a safe direction, towards the target.
As he brings the gun forward the safety comes off. You can get a really good idea of the draw motion when he does it in reverse to reholster.Last edited by Wasz; May 26th, 2009 at 07:19 PM.
