350 remington mag
I have amauser 98 action and was wondering if it would be alright to use it for the 350 rem mag it will be used for deer and bear it should have enough pop for 'em

If you are thinking of a .350Rem.Mag. you may want consider a .358 Norma Mag. instead. Better suited to that length action and more energy.. However, if you are not going to handload the .350 Rem. Mag. ammo might be easier to find.

Along those same lines....the 35 Whelen, similar energy, better suited length and more popular/more factory loadings than either. It seems like a do-able conversion to me but your gunsmith should have the final verdict.

i was going with the 350 i had considered the 35-06 but in the 98 i planed on 20-22" barrel and 225gr nosler balistics the 358 norma i've never see brass or dies. i'll contact hartz they should be able to do it also considerin 158gr jhps for pesky gophers
