Allegheny Sheriff's Office Misinformation
I went down to the sheriffs office today with my girlfriend for her to apply for her LTCF, that went fine. But as I was sitting out in that little waiting room I started to read all the signs on the wall.
Most of them are incorrect by mentioning "permit" instead of license...no big deal there, just semantics.
But, there was one bigger sign there that was a "message" from William Mullen, the sheriff himself, that must have mention concealed carry permit three times. Never once did it say carry license or LTCF. What's the deal with that? This is just another case of misinformation regarding out LTCFs....

Re: Allegheny Sheriff's Office Misinformation
Was there a date on that paper? If I remember correctly, that is what they were called a long long time ago. I am pretty sure that my first was a Conceal Carry Permit". I think the laws were changed in the mid 90's. The terminology most likely changed then. The Sherrif needs to update his docs.

Re: Allegheny Sheriff's Office Misinformation
Maybe it means Mullen is a 2A-hating moron?

It's not that old. It had Mullen's name and signature on it. He only came into office...what 3 years ago?

"I just want to make it more difficult to get a gun in Allegheny County," said acting Sheriff William Mullen.
