    Default 10/22 Action

Looking to lighten up the trigger on my 10/22.

    I am considering:

An adjustable hammer and sear kit (Power Customs)

An adjustable hammer and sear kit with target trigger (Power Custom with Trigger from Hawktech)

Sending it away to a shop for a trigger job (Hornet Products)

    Trying to polish it myself.

    Thoughts? Opinions? Experiences?

I already have searched many of the posts dealing with my questions and have read tons of different opinions on there.
Just wanted to get a few more from here. Thanks.

I put a VQ target hammer in my 10/22 and it cut my trigger pull in half. It's now about 4 pounds versus the 8+ it was before.

I also did the VQ trigger job and had the same results... easy to do and cost <$40 skins.

Another solution to consider is TT Shooter, do a google search, he comes highly recommended and his fee is only a little more than the parts cost.

Ditto on the VQ; not even just for the lighter pull, just for it consistently breaking at the same place on every pull!

Exactly... It's a much crisper break now.

I'll be evil and mention the KID trigger.
