I so want one of these. Well 2 of these actually. I want one in regular configuration and I want one with the Unertl 10X target scope. Marine sniper style.

There's a nice one for sale at Gun Traders in reading, I think he was asking 900 for it when I was in there the other week.

    Standard config.

And I'm not sure if it was an A3 or not, I didn't really look that closely, I was looking at the m14 next to it.

Thanks. How does yours shoot? I haven't shot this one yet. It's a high number circa 1918 and can be shot. It's a mixmaster but the stock is marked with the POD stamp (Philippine Ordnance Depot). Looks like the stock at least has been around the globe

I have not shot it yet, sorry to say. The muzzle wear and throat erosion measured 0 and 1, respectively. I primarily bought it because my father served in WWII, and he took his 1903 back with him. Later, he had sold it.

Please shoot it, You will be happier with it once you shoot it and appreciate what it was like!
I belong to a great range and just bought my 03' out to shoot. Mine was sporterised and I would like original wood one day, But with the od Weaver scope it shoots exactly where you point it! 100 yards is nothiing for these war horses!
