who makes .338 winchester rifles?

I amm looking to buy a Rifle in .338 Winchester but my favorite 2 Rifle makers, Savage and Ruger doesnt list anything for .338?

Anybodyelse makes these things?

I did a web search but i come up with is old used Rifles.

if you are referring to the 338winmag caliber savage dose make one in the 111 model i know this for a fact because i just sold mine.also i have seen them in the 110 model.

Try Browning they are alittle more in price.

Remington makes a .338, although you are probably aware of this. If you're a weatherby fan, there is the .338-378 weatherby. It actually has better ballistics than the .338 remington magnum, although it has radiused shoulders which you may or may not like. I'm not sure if you're partial to the .338 rem mag, or not, but it's another option to consider. Just figured I'd throw that out there.

I really want the .338 Lapua Magnum but the guns for these are too expensive for me .

Gunbroker search came up with 6 pages in 338. The remington is the 338 ultra. There are still a few models in 338 wm also. Like the Lapua 338 the Ultra is alot of smack. The recoil alone will keep you to under 10 shots on the bench. Don't buy an ultra or Lapua without a good muzzle break. None of my biz but why do you feel you need a 338 or are you ging for big bears, and the like? Ammo unless you reload will be prohibitive.
