Got my LTCF today!!!

I was so happy to get the message on my answering machine today saying my permit was ready. I can't wait to exercise my right and not have to dance on egg shells going to and from the range worrying if the ammo and pistol are far enough apart in my truck etc..

Sorry for that gloat but I had to share with my fellow PAFOA brothers.

I know the feeling.

Yesterday we went to the range (had to break in a new gun ), then afterwards went to visit family.
If I had to take the guns home from the range, we would've had to eliminate the range or family from the trip. Hmmmm decisions decisions.

Holster came in the mail today so now I'll get to further exercise my rights.

I know the feeling. I live outside of town so it always P'd me off that I couldn't combine a trip to the range with shopping for provisions. Had to come home, unload, and drive back into town.

Wouldn't you know it - on my last trip home from the range before my LTCF came, I was pulled over by a dozen cops. Glad I didn't stop for bread! And I guess it's true that the shorter you get the more dangerous it gets.

I feel bad for you guys that live in counties that don't hand it to you on the spot. I love being able to walk into the Sheriff's office, pay $25, fill out the form and then wait 10 mins for them to print up my card.

Thanks guys. Now I have to decide which one I want to carry. Either Sig P239 or the SW99 or buy a new one. I'll a few questions about carrying coming up that I'm sure you guys can answer.

Buy a single shot 50 cal handgun.
