Pressure pad mounting
I recently picked up a flashlight with a pressure pad to put on my AR. So my question is for those of you who are using a pressure pad without using a VFG, how are you mounting the pressure pad?

Re: Pressure pad mounting
It depends on your shooting style with the rifle and how long the lead on the switch is?
If you use the mag well for support you could run it down one side or the other so you can apply pressure easily. You could also try it on the pistol grip but I would be afraid it might get caught up in the controls.
I personally use a front grip with it just held on by a few wraps of electric tape. Some guys like velcro if they take the light off alot. I've also seen the fat vegi rubber bands used."Remember the first rule of gunfighting ... have a gun." Jeff Cooper

I like to activate it with my thumb on the front handguard. I attach it with a big fat black rubberband but I will be going to velcro or tape.
