I was talking to a neighbor yesterday. I don't usually talk to her because, well she's a bitch . Anyway, she came over to comment on our vege garden, asked how well it did last year, yadda yadda.

After a while talking she looks at me, points and says "That scares me". I turned around looking for our Rotti and saw her lying in the grass on the other side of the driveway. I looked back at my neighbor as I was pointing to our dog and said "her, she's a sweety". She says no and points to my hip, I looked down and giggled. "That" I said, it's nothing to be afraid of, it doesn't bite either".

She asked if there was something going on that she didn't know about. I said besides the drug dealers and the druggies driving up and down my driveway that there was nothing else new. I also told her about the 2 dogs that come around every year that have tried to attacked me on several occasions (which she knows of). I also reminded her of the trash that has been moving into the area. She agreed with me about everything, said she has even called the police about the goings on up and down my driveway and that she is taking down descriptions of all the vehicles. I told her she doesn't have anything to worry about with us, we're the good guys.

So, I guess after talking to her for a while she was no longer scared of my little black gun (P11). So that's 1 less scared sheeple in the neighborhood.

shoulda asked her if she is afraid of every gun she sees on a cop too or if it's just the ones she sees on average, everyday, law-abiding American Joes and Janes

Tootie, my neighborhood was like that a few years ago. Drug dealers playing craps against my mother's garage; scum attacking the elderly; about four-five murders within two years. Recently, it has been quiet. My mother does not question me anymore on why I have firearms.

Yeah I'm really surprised she came over if she was so afraid. We've stood outside in the driveway talking to another neighbor showing him the AK's and some of the other toys we have when I know she saw us.

Oh and did I mention that she's an ex NY'er, bed stuy area, where only the bad guys are allowed to carry guns.
