.22 LR Conversion Kit for 9 MM 1911
I just purchased a 9 MM Springfiled Loaded Model 1911 and am wondering what .22 LR conversion kit will work with this pistol. I went to the Kimber web site and they state that their conversion kit "will not work with a pistol with a 9MM bore". Could this be for theirown guns but would work with the Springfield? I also e-mail Springfiled and they would not "recommend andy conversion kit because of liability issues", so that was a dead end. I would appreciate any help on this and would like to know some exact wxperiences with any conversion kits.

Call Advantage Arms and see what they say.
I don't know why a .22 conversion kit from Kimber wouldn't work on a 9mm gun...the kit is a complete slide and barrel, the frame to slide fit should be the same and the mag well opening is the same size as a .45's."We shoot to stop. ... Unfortunately, death can be a byproduct."
