Range Trip This Weekend (Sat. May 16th)

I am thinking of taking a trip upto TULPEHOCKEN if the new range is opened. This will give us 250'ish yards of shooting pleasure. If it's not open, I think I am going to rolling to Jonestown and work on my 100yd plinking.

Anyone else?

Same course of fire, but due to the increasing difficulty in finding lead bullets we are allowing jacketed bullets for these matches. (no armor-piercing please)

I will have to see how Saturday turns out. If everything goes well and I get the loads that I am looking for, I may make sometime Sunday to come out.


I tested some different rounds in my 50 BMG last night and everything is running like a champ. So now I have to sort out some more ammo to make some brass to reload. I don't have the chedda to buy the reloading setup for it str8 away ($500'ish for press and dies, then $150/500 primers, then $80/100 projectiles, then brass which I now don't have) Grrr..... 50's are salty.... But never the less, once I get setup I will be str8.

So is anyone down for JF&G run Saturday yet?
