    Default Ranges in Philly

Are there any ranges in Philly, that don't make you buy thier ammo? I mean actualy inside the city limits... I love Classic, but sometimes it is just a bit too far, if I am just looking to blow off a few rounds...

Did you try Firing Line down in South Philly?
Ammo supply is running low right now, so they have no problem with you bringing your own.

Ok, I guess I should have asked what you were shooting.
You're gonna want to go to South Philadelphia Archery and Gun ..
    http://www.philadelphiaarcheryandgunclub.com/

They will let you bring your own ammo, but jump the range price up from $15 to $25..
    Hope that helps.

I was there on Saturday and they were out of 9mm. So they let me shoot their .45 GAP. I just had to buy the ammo. That was my first encounter with an ammo shortage.

I was there Saturday too... I was the one with the Glocks and the 7 year old (my son) that was shooting his 'sniper rifle'.

I'll be there on Thursday. I buy cheaper 9mm that i find elsewhere, and instead buy a couple boxes of .22 (for my other pistol), and that gets me around any fees and its still quite cheap.

Although I still occasionally pay for the odd 9mm box and .45 acp.

Your mileage will vary though if you are a guy off the street vs a member i would imagine.

UGGGHHH... Why do all of the ranges close by make you buy thier ammo, or bump up the range fee? I understand that they are in business to make money, but there are other ways you can do it. Like seeling me a gun that I seen on display while I was there. targets, backerboards, and so on..

How are the ammo prices at this place?
