Default Nominal Metrics for Trap Shooting?

I looking at getting into trap shooting and have been search the internet for info to get a feeling for the dynamic of the sport. Would like some help in defining some NOMINAL metrics such as:

Average distance downrange where clay is engaged (EngRng) .....

    Clay speed at launch .....
Clay speed downrange .....(20 yd) .....(30 yd) .....(40 yd) .....(EngRng)

    For 12 gauge 2-3/4" 3 dram 1-1/8 oz 7.5 shot:

    Muzzle velocity .....
Downrange velocity .....(20 yd) .....(30 yd) .....(40 yd) .....(EngRng)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not 100% sure, but here is some info. You shoot from about 16yds behind the trap house. The birds come out at an ave. speed of 45mph. Most trap shooters use imp. cyl or mod. choke. Most trap shooters shoot 7/8 to 1 oz loads that patteren well out of their gun. Birds are probably hit somewhere around 20yds or less out of the trap house. This is the only sport, where you do not know which direction where the bird is going to go. Hope this helps.

Simple! Go to where you plan on shooting trap and ask one of the "old timers". If he doesn't know all the answers, ask to talk to the guy who calibrates the traps, he'll know. Typically they use a RADAR gun to set the speed. IIRC, the speed is measured at a pole/marker directly in front of the trap house, I'm fairly certain it's around 42 MPH.
