any 45 acp ammo out there???

I am taking a class at the end of the month and need 600rd. or more of 45 acp, and no one has that much on stock, if they even have any. Dick's, Gander mtn. my buddy.s shop in ellwood are all sold out, and I am getting desperate. I was going to get Wolf from Midway, but they are out- no backorder. Called Guxyck's and the phone was not in service. Any ideas???

The last time I looked, Cabela's had plenty available online. I was looking for target, not SD, and they had Wolf FMJ for less than $200/500 rounds.

Although they may be out now, I did notice .45 was one of the few calibers they had in stock at the Robinson Walmart and it was actually reasonably priced (if i remember correctly). It was no more than a week ago and they had some boxes of Blazer, may not have 600 rounds but worth a call.

As we are all in the same boat as it were, some time back I had set a google alert to 45 ammo & 9mm thus receiving threads such as these for my search for ammo as well, so when getting any positive results I decided to build a blog for any such leads and will continue to post such leads to this blog. Thanks everyone, I did find some. I haven't bought factory ammo for a long time. Hardball is no longer five bucks a box!
