Great site!! I guess I had better be getting my BPT (Bureau of Power Tools) application to own/transfer power tools before they break down my door and take my jig saw with a built in laser alignment fixture.

i hear the NPTA (national power tool association) is working with democrats in congress on a compromise bill that would ban circular saws with:

- more than 20 teeth on the blade

or 2 or more of the following features:

- blade guard
- bevel adjustment
- horizontal grip for your left hand
- shaft lock
- electric brake
- safety switch
- bayonet lug

there will prolly be a grandfather clause, though, so start stocking up on those plywood blades now...they'll be worth a fortune once the ban takes effect!!
