Default Clubs in the Lebanon area

Well, now that I'm moved into Lebanon I need a place to go shoot, which I have been assured I'll be able to do at some point after the wedding

So what are the clubs in the area? What are their rates, requirements, web sites, etc? Where do you guys and gals recommend?

    Welcome to Lebanon,

There are few ranges in our area.

Jonestown Fish & Game: Yearly dues are $15 (I think?), 25/50/100yd range (I'm a member)

Palmyra Sportsmen Association: Yearly dues are about $70. This is a big club with multiple ranges, including indoor pistol and indoor 22lr. Tons of support for clay shooting (I'm a member)

Heidelberg: I don't know their dues, but I do know they have a 200yd range

Tulpehocken: Again, not sure of the dues, but currently have a 200yd range. They have a new range, however it's still under construction. When it is complete (in a couple of months) they will have a 500yd range (Hopefully going to the meeting tonight to sign up)

There is also a range in Mt Gretna, Mt Joy, and Manhiem. So when living in Lebanon, you have a lot of options. The other guys can post more info on the other ranges.

    Frosty,
Tulpehockens dues are $30.00/yr + a $5.00 initiation fee to join.

We currently have a 25 yd pistol range, a 25 yd steel PISTOL range, and a 100/200 yd range with pits, at our Bergers rd range.

We also have an approx. 240 yd range and an approx. 35 yd range at our Molleystown Rd range.
The proposed "long range" is on property which adjoins the Molleystown range.

The long range is a "long term project" it is more than a few months away( the guy we own the land with is a strip miner, we are waiting till he is done mining the area, and he has not started as yet.)
I'll look for you tonight, I'm the membership Secretary.

I am a member of Palmyra as well. I will be back out that way next week. If you would like to get a tour and maybe do a little shooting let me know. I should be available on the 14th or 15th after 5:00 pm.

Well I just signed up @ Tulpehocken and I think I found another good set of guys that enjoy shooting. My 50 BMG is cool there, and even our belt fed toys are all kosher with no 3 round limit.

They seem to be very active with shoots, so as long as I am not working, I hope to attend.

Just another Jonestown plug, its a small club but has some DAMN NICE members. That's where I have met many of my good shooting buddy's.

Thank you all for the quick and informative responses. I'm leaning toward starting with Palmyra, then Jonestown, then Tulpehocken, although based on price Jonestown might be first. How do they feel about OC?

I found the web site for Palmyra
    http://www.palmyrasportsmens.com/index.asp
    and Tulpehocken
    http://tulrpc.com/default.aspx
so I will be checking those out. I couldn't find a web site for Jonestown, though.

Cool, that would be great. I could probably make the 14th. The 15th I'm working a 12 hour night shift.

Jonestown is if fine with OC. If you want a test run there, just say the word.

The 14th works for me. I have been trying to link up with SFN to shoot as well. I will get with you in a few days to nail down the time and place to meet.
