i dont know every pistol in the world!!

why do people always put pistols up for sale in the BST forum and NOT bother to tell me what caliber they are? am i suppose to know the caliber of every Glock, SIG, hk in the world?

I agree with you. If you notice, the guys who post all the details, along with lots of photos, sell their guns very quickly. Good luck shopping. Myself, I stick to Gunbroker.

I am in complete agreement. Your level of knowledge is immaterial. If someone wants to sell something it behooves them to be as upfront as possible. When I am searching through endless classifieds the last thing I have time to do is make inquiries for basic information. Like condition, or how many rounds through the gun or even a picture God sake.

Meh, if I was posting, I would have giant hi def pics, linkable with thumbnails, then a full manufacturers description, and links to it on review sites, but I am an e-bay whore.

But if your trying to find a good deal a crappy listing can help you, do your research, find out what it's really worth and as it sits in dread not selling or getting replies you wait for the price to be lowered, and haggle that down.

Once again, sorry I'm an ebay whore. Hence why I said google.
