Re: new to pa
Yes and Yes.
There is no scary gun ban, normal capacity mag ban, or any of that crap in Pa.
Headcase will be along shortly to post links to some key threads that you will find very helpful as a new Pa resident and PAFOA member.
Until then... Welcome to Pa. (America Starts Here) and PAFOA._________________________________________

Welcome to PA. Glad you made it out of occupied New Jersey and into the Free World.
You can have as many of any damn kind of gun you want here!
If you can figure out how to get our Governor deported to NJ, we'd like you even more!Last edited by Mr White; May 5th, 2009 at 10:40 PM.

Re: new to pa
Glad to be out of jersey! Still shopping for a rifle, not sure what to get, a little worried about the background check. I had a couple of dwi's about 10 years ago in jersey I doubt there gonna approve that, but gonna try anyway.

Re: new to pa
Welcome, escaped NYC a few months ago myself. It's a great site here with very knowledgeable folks. In regards to a rifle since you said an AK I suggest a Saiga converted already or a fun project to do yourself if your handy with some basic tools.

Re: new to pa
Only thing is, you cannot hunt with a semi-auto rifle in PA. If the BAR you are talking about is not the NFA type BAR, you can target shoot all you want, but can't hunt with it. If it's a NFA type BAR, then you have to do the paperwork with the BATFE to let them know where it is going to be located.
