WANTED: NRA Courses

I am in great need of having a Training Coach offer the Shotgun and Muzzleloader (Rifle) Instructor course in Western PA.

I am already NRA trained to be a rifle and pistol instructor. However, I limit my courses to teaching the Rifle Merit Badge to Boy Scouts and acting as a Consultant to the BSA Venturing Program (pistol). I also have the RSO rating.

In order to teach the Shotgun Merit Badge I need to be NRA Trained for the Shotgun Instructor rating.

In order to serve as a Consultant for the BSA Venturing Program (muzzle loader - rifle), I need to be NRA Trained for the Muzzle Loader Instructor rating.

All this is standard BSA policy.

So far no one has posted a course at the NRA site.

If you have the Certification to teach the Shotgun and/or Muzzle Loader Instructor course, I would like to work with you to schedule a training session.

You should call Kim Stolfer at 412-221-3346. He is an instructor in Western Pa. and people seem to have only good things to say about him. I don't think he posts here, but he's also a RKBA activist and does good things for the cause. I never met him, but if I lived on the other side of the state, he would be my first call for courses.

Not to hijack the thread....but anyone know of someone in the Central or Eastern part of PA that can certify Handgun instructors?

I can do ALL disciplines, in Eastern PA (Bucks County).

Have put a training schedule available for the late summer /Fall to restart the cycle.

Will be posted shortly on the NRA website (when the "sponsor" figures out howmuch he needs for the range fee).

Thundering Wind... You are welcome to contact me for a Muzzleloader course...privately if necessary. Only problem is you have to travel across the state almost to NJ.
