    Default What's wrong with this picture?

    I was digging through some pictures and found this. This is a new sign posted on an Urban Assault Course on an Army Installation.

    I guess this is why recruits should at least have a HS diploma.

    Are you sure it was a US Army installation? "Offence" is spelled that way in several other English-speaking countries.

    I took the picture... Here in the US. I know the guy who ordered the sign.... I am actually surprised he spelled the rest of the words correctly.

    I can't wait to see the Fox News report about how much it cost and how many tax payer dollars were wasted by this guy ordering this sign.
    The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

    Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

    i am a Marine Recruiter, and i send EVERY GED/no diploma no GED holder to the Army, and they take them... ANYONE can be a soldier... just about...

    I know and I deal with them all the time. They [Army] keep saying that we are not lowering standards to keep the units full. I say BULLSHIT I have never had to hold so many hands, and spend countless extra time training/retraining soldiers in my life. I had an ANCOC (Advanced Non-Commissioned Officer Course) student in February who could not read much more than 4 letter words. I had to teach him phonics can you believe it... This guy was a Staff Sergeant looking to get promoted and I had to teach him how to read... He was very Tactically proficient though.

    Note: This is the exception, most soldiers I train are at the very least literate, some struggle with the math but they get it eventually.

    ETA: I don't remember as many ROCKS when I was in the Marine Corps.
