    Question Wolf & Bear .223

Has anyone used Wolf and or Bear .223 Russian ammo? Any issues? Thanks...

I've had good luck with Wolf Military Classic, Brown Bear and Silver Bear. However, I only have run 40, 40 and 20 rnds respectively through my AR15.
In my small sample size, all three brands were accurate enough, fairly clean, and no failures.

I have shot a decent amount of Wolf 55gr FMJ through both my Stag and a friend's Colt. No problems what-so-ever.

Cleaning after a range trip is more of a pain, because the ammo is dirty compared to the M193 I have, but for the price, it's what I have stocked and what I plink with.

I have a fair amount of M193 stocked as well for the day I find a carbine course I can attend.

ive used all three through my contender. Wolf has a hard primer compared to the others so if your firing pen is light you might want to look at the others. I prefer the silver bear myself.

i've run close to 2,000 rnds of Silver Bear through my ARs no problems at all. seems to shoot a little cleaner than wolf.
