    Default A new plinker ............ GSG-5PK

Well the company I work for isn't completely honest. With all the economic stress, like most companies the first of the year brought no raises, no bonuses, reduced 401K's along with more HC cost. Got a surprise driving home yesterday from doing a job in Reading last week. Boss calls and says I have some important news but please keep it hush, hush. We've decided to give our top performers a bonus for work/revenue they're bringing in. "Your getting a bonus", so why not immediately celebrate and start to replenish the loss from the boating accident ..........

Stopped at ECG's and they just got these in. German Sport Guns GSG-5PK, HK MP5 replica in 22LR. I know very little about the gun but it just felt good in the hand and it looks kewl. Threaded barrel, so it can be suppressed and comes with a flash suppressor. Ambi safety (always good for a southpaw), comes with one 10 rounder and I added a couple of 22 rounders. I'll be sure to give the range report after firing a few brick through it. Also picked up a EOTEch 557 to finalize the trick out of the Stag, I'll post some pics in rifles as soon as I put it on.

    Enjoy ...........

Congrats on the BONUS, and what you bought with it. Buy ammo with what's left.

    Nice pics!!!

    OK, THAT is the most-est awesome-est mother-effin .22 I've seen in a long time.

First time in a long time I've thought "wonder what gun I could sell to afford one of those?"

    Congrats!

I have the GSG with the mock suppressor. It is a sweet shooting gun. You can easily burn through one of the 500+ Federal bricks in a range trip. Probably my best buy was my GSG, endless cheap fun.

Might sound cheap, but many airsoft parts are compatible with these, such as mock suppressors, rails and stocks. Cheaper and can definitely handle .22

My collapsable stock is for an airsoft gun. It was cheaper than the GSG made one and from what I've been told, sturdier.

Let us know how it is holding that thing with one hand.

just remember that since you have the GSG-5PK, it is a pistol, so its a no go on adding a stock, or a vertical front grip to it without the $200 stamp. but i agree, i love my GSG-5, just having a hell of a time keeping .22 ammo around the house now thanks to it.
in fact i just got done adding some color to the logos and stuff on the gun with some paint. just cuz i was bored.

Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets.
