M1 Garand - Schuylkill (willing to do some traveling)
I'm in the market for a Garand. I'm not interested in modern repro's. Looking for a good shooter in decent shape (as original as possible) in the $600-$800 range. Let me know what you have. I'm in Schuylkill county but willing to travel a reasonable (50 miles or so) distance to meet FTF rather than pay shipping.
As much as I'd like one I'm not in the market for $1000 plus guns. I'm looking for a reliable vintage shooter for use at the range.
P.S. Thanks for the helpful folks giving me info on the CMP. I'm aware that the CMP exists, and will probably look into it in the next few weeks, but their current wait times are approx 3 months.Last edited by HamburgBoy84; May 4th, 2009 at 10:09 PM.
