I love my cricket rifle
I finally got around to sighting in the cricket rifle i purchased from a member here last year some time today. The rifle came with a scope and it took some time to get it back onto paper because the scope was not level when i purchased it. Anyway, after some work i moved out to 100 yds and started shooting at clay birds. Let me say it was the most fun i have had shooting in a while. It was the first time i had seen things happening in real time. The scope would reset after the recoil then the bullet would impact the clay bird. Much more fun then punching holes in a target at 100 yds. The best part is the cricket scope that came with the rifle has mil dot cross hairs. Ground hogs be ware. My only complaint is that the rifle lacks a feed ramp so you have to insert the round into the chamber by hand. This becomes difficult with my big oaf hands. What can i say the file was made for children. It make me want to get a grown .22 and slap a scope on it.

They used to give you a Cricket stuffed animal with a rifle purchase. Did you get one?

Re: I love my cricket rifle
The wife and I bought my first son a Cricket when he was born, he started shooting it at 2 and now 7 he has graduated to the DPMS. I lost 10 bucks to him once, betting that he couldn't hit a hanging bell.....HE DID!
He also has the "you'll shoot your eye out, kid!" red ryder.. Which he takes in the back yard and practices with whenever he gets the chance.
Did I raise a good PAFOA member or what?
