Surgery tomorrow (which is now today, and it went okay)

I'm going to go to sleep and wake up, God willing, with a new lens in my left eye, which is going to be a flipping relief after a few years of trying to relearn how to shoot, while left-handed and right-eyed. Cataract surgery isn't quite the chore that it used to be, but I have significant risk factors for not making it off the table.

Supposedly, cross-eye dominance is a non-issue, but adding in having to switch hands and the loss of acuity in the dominant eye, and you have a real c-f situation. So, I'm looking forward to the next few days while I get used to a closer semblance to normal binocular vision.

I'm actually not sure if eating a sammich will help you, but the last one was so darned good, it can't hurt to try.

WOW! There's a name I haven't heard in a while. I might actually have to break out an old yearbook because I know that name I just can't put a face to it. I think you're right he would have been about that far ahead of me. Small world isn't it?
