I just joined SM. I've been to the range a couple of times, saw no one there.
Is the rubber target to the far right for shotgun only or can you shoot handguns at it?

    Where's the fishing lake located?

Its been awhile since i was up there at the range. Last time i was there i used the far right lane for shooting but i stood in the grass as i was teaching my girl how to shoot her pistol. The range didnt have a rubber target when i was there.
Im not sure where the lakes are. I will find out and post here.

    From the Michaux Facebook Page

"Heads up! We are looking for some volunteers interested in
joining our Target Range Volunteer Group. As you may know, the long-awaited target range is entering the final stages of construction and will be opening this summer.
As far as we have come, we still need your help. Please come join us on May 21st and June 4th at 8:00 a.m. to help us open your range on time. We will be constructing target holders, installing signs, and possibly some painting and staining. If this sounds like something you would interested in send us your contact info through a pm or give the office a call at 717-352-2211. Thank you in advance."

Is the shooting range off Rt 30 above Chambersburg, toward Gettysburg? I'm definitely interested in checking this out next month.

Yes. It's on the north side of 30 off rt233.
From 30 take 233 (PineGrove) north for about 1.5 miles, turn left onto Milesburn rd (gravel road), drive past the lake, as soon as you get past the lake turn right onto Birch run Rd. The range is about 1/2 mile on the left.

I've been past the range but never actually used it. I think you need some kind of permit to use it now. Maybe I'll head up there this weekend, I haven't been on the lake with the kayak all summer, this would give me a reason.
