.45 Winchester Magnum (LAR Grizzly is the handgun)

Anyone have one of these guns? If so, where do you buy ammo? I know its almost impossible. I see them on gunbroker sometimes.

My dad has one of these, and we have a lot of brass for it but most of it has been reloaded 8 times or so. The cases are starting to get fatigued I think. We have a box of new brass that I just loaded and used bit today for him. But just wandering if anyone knows on any tips for getting any of this ammo.

For those that don't know, this gun or guns that chamber this round aren't made anymore (to the best of my knowledge). Its like a 44 mag, only a bit bigger and it holds more of a powder charge. Its like an enlarged model of a 1911. My dads is honestly the nicest one I've ever seen. Most of the ones on gun broker are rough looking and they have the extended barrel just sticking, it looks kinda dumb. His has a ported muzzle break at the end. Looks very nice.

It fires great too and is deadly accurate. I was hitting a very small piece of wood at 25 yards repeatedly today without effort.....with hand loaded rounds.

Love my grizzlys. The 45 win mag is a hoot to shoot. My understanding is that winchester was loading 45 win mag but only does it seasonally. With the current run on ammo it's hard to say when they will get back to the obscure calibers.
