In Pa, You can open carry, but cant drive with out a CCW permit. That is how they get around that stupid ass law.

There is a guy in Wayne that OC's all the time I think. He has an OC map somewhere on here, and he has a lot of the downtown Wayne area covered in blue on the map, indicating that there has been no problems in that area.

I'm the OC guy from Wayne- I OC in Chester county all the time - never had any problems in Chester county...

The best way to start OCing is...to start OCing.

Visit places where you normally go and people recognize you...the gas station down the street, the supermarket, etc. Since those people know you, they won't be jittery and it will help you get accustomed to that handgun on your hip.

You'll be surprised. When you first start, you'll think that it's as large as mailbox with flashing lights and a siren. Then after a few times out and about, you'll realize that the vast majority of people out there simply don't see it. People don't go around staring at other people's hips.
