Carrying at Sovereign Bank Stadium
I could have sworn there was a topic on here about it but i could not find it.
Do they allow CC? Does the stadium check you as you enter?
Thanks

Re: Carrying at Sovereign Bank Stadium
Sovereign Bank Stadium does not allow firearms. They do not have metal detectors set up and do not wand.

Yeah, there are signs on the doors that say no weapons.

Re: Carrying at Sovereign Bank Stadium
I barely saw the sign the one time I went there (last July for the most boring time of my life) and I was looking for it!! They also have signs about doing bag checks, didn't see a single bag checker. Nice stadium, just dont go on a hot day/evening..you will roast.

Re: Carrying at Sovereign Bank Stadium
This is for Sovereign Bank Management. I did not realize CC was not allowed. I will no longer attend a Rev's game there. That is a rough part of town and I'll be d*&%&^ if I have to put my family in jeopardy just to see a baseball game. This is the kind of crap that has to stop. I'm certified by the state to carry but some bozo in a suit decides it's not necessary. I wonder if (s)he lets his/her family walk around down there after dark?

Re: Carrying at Sovereign Bank Stadium
I have a licence.. but that's not the point. The point I was making is that the overwhelmed PDs show up to a scene and put up tape and call the "meat wagon" (heard it called that by LE many times with my own ears ). There is generally nobody around to protect you or your family when the crapola hits the fan. Don't get me wrong, I know plenty of cops and admire them. I get it, they could roll up on any number of dangers at any time. I respect that. I also know the motto is "everyone goes home".. as it should be! Too many cops are killed in the line of duty.. it is a tragedy. But where does that leave the general public? All many of us ccs want is to be left alone and protect our families and property. I don't think that is too much to ask.
