Sorrry Mrs Mtn they wont be able to attend this event as they are strictly bear hunters. But there are other shooters showing up. We will have fun.

I will be there, Cindy is a maybe, because we have the granddaughter for the weekend. As far as the trophy goes, I'll be happy to let you touch it.

good to see some of you guys out there. We got there and started right at 2........ sorry but we are early folks, and waiting around a few hours in the cold and rain just wasnt on the agenda.
you guys might need to see lil'buck about that trophy!

was great fun! it was my first time ever doing something like this.
(I have done barebow archery competition before, both target and walkthrough)
My firearms experience has really been mostly limited to the hunting sports, and this was really an eye opener=not your normal target practice! I used jacks dad's glock 19. And as my glock hands-on experience was scarce/scant before this, I can say that it is a good place for the brand new beginner also. They were very patient with me. I had wanted to become more familiar with the glock prior to this but circumstances the past couple of weeks prohibited any practice. I am actually glad to have gone into this mostly on the green side as now I can recommend them to newbies!

FYI
they host an informal practice IDPA match at the club on 3rd Saturdays at 2PM. Match fee is $5.
I'll be there this Coming Saturday, should have my son with me, and maybe one other poofer.
lil'buck will be shooting the 9mm 1911
