I'm using these nylon utility tool or knife holders that I picked up at the flea market for a buck apiece. They have a flap cover that keeps the mag in, but allow instant access.

I have some of those, also, not used much.

I was using a cell phone case for my GI Colt, but the double-stacks don't fit in them. Come to think of it, I have the XD Gear double that came with the XD, too...

Thats what I use, but my pouch came with a multi tool I bought to toss in a tool box. No sense leaving it in the pouch and since I currently carry concealed it doesnt make sense to have an open mag holder giving me away. Nobody looks twice at a multi tool pouch, so im totally incognito.

I use a bunch of different mag pouches. I've got Sparks, Alessi, Davis, UBG and HBE leather. Comp-Tac, SPS and Blade-Tech kydex. I've got a plastic Fobus double that's good for training.
I usually order a matching one when I have a holster made. Just cause nobody sees it, doesn't mean it's got to be ugly!

I've been using Comp-Tac for awhile now but I'm looking for something a little more low profile.
