Default will there be an ammo shortage?

i was worried if there will be an ammo shortage? its hard to tell if gun owners are buying it by the thousands or is the ammo plants not making enough bullets? with the supply and demand the prices might double with taxes and brass prices?

The ammo shortage is a myth but, alas, that does not keep the speculators from investing or the sellers from gouging.

    Tis the American way.

The price of raw materials are down. It's supply and demand. The higher the demand the higher the price.

no i think the gun nuts should stop buying couple thousand rounds of bullets why should anyone need more then 200 rounds of bullets at a time what if your house caught on fire with a couple thousand rounds in it huh, it would be like the worlds largest claymore mine....they should stop hourding all the ammo and save some for the ones still lookin! funny thing is everyone is preparing for an invasion the USA will never be overrun we have more cops in 50 states then china has soldiers!

Der Kommissar is in town to tell us how much we should buy and when we should buy it! Thanks for the wise words, comrade.

And thanks for calling people who plan ahead "gun nuts." That's really nice there, Sparky...

i have freedom of speech remember and i am frustrated can hardly find any ammo so i figured out people over buying bullets thats the problem they should save some for their fellow gun owners did you know that the moregun owners start emptying the shelves the higher the supply and demand becomes they should leave some on the shelves then the prices wont be so high...
