I live over in Denver (pa) and I was wondering if any one knew of any shooting rages near here. I would like to learn how to shoot & take a safety class or something like that.

Welcome! I'm from over in Lititz, Pa. There are a ton of places around here to shoot - and I know there are some more out your way, but out here there is Elstonville and Manheim Sportsmens Clubs in Manheim. There is Ol Bastards in Rothsville, there is also another private club toward Brownstown.

I recently joined the Cocalico Sportsman's Association http://www.cocalicosportsmen.org off 897.

When I first stopped by the guy I met was nice and helpful. He told me their members are getting up in years and they are looking for active members.

I intend to shoot at CSA and volunteer my time (you have to volunteer at least one shift in your first year to remain a member) as soon as things calm down in May.

Might be an option for you.

I joined Cocalico 2 yrs ago and really like it. I am in to Specialty Encores and Contenders, and they have the longer ranges to wring them out.
