CZ RAMI near Pittsburgh

I'm a college student, and I am looking to pick up a CZ RAMI this summer when I turn 21.

I am hopefully going to be in north Pittsburgh over the summer, and I was wondering if there is any place I should start. Ideally I would like to order it shortly so I can pick it up on or shortly after my birthday. But I don't know if this is possible (legal).

In short, is this possible, and if so, who would you recommend I do business with?

I've yet to find anyplace that reliably sells CZ pistols...Ace sporting goods in Washington generally has a few but last i checked no rami's...

if you're gonna order it you're probably best off getting it via the internet and having it shipped to a local dealer for transfer...I've ended up finding my two CZ's used locally and all the new stuff i bought for them came from CZ Custom out in Arizona...they have reasonable prices, probably the best selection you're gonna find, and overall i was very satisfied with them

as far as ordering it prior to 21 goes, discuss that with your local FFL dealer...i know he can't transfer the pistol to you without being 21, but i don't know if that extends to ordering it and having him hold it till you come of age...

Was up at Anthony's today to pickup a new magazine carrier and browse a little. They still had 2 Rami's on the shelf and I'm pretty sure they still do a layaway program and that might help out.

I was there today and still 2 there, the poly frame and the plastic grips. both ~$660

Personally I hear the plastic grips suck and have so many problems, they actually make fun of people who look at them.

Oh how I love that gun with the plastic grips :sigh:

I was there today too after work, and they are still there...though I thought the poly framed one was less than the metal.

You should check out the Bersa Thunder 9 Pro UC (used) that that have on the shelf for $392....

I was at the little Ace True Value Hardware store on 48 south of the Boston Bridge. I didn't know they sold guns or did transfers there.

They had a Rami P in the case - though I did not see a price.
