POLK COUNTY FLORIDA SHERIFF GRADY JUDD

Some 'dirtbag' in Polk County, Florida, who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop ended up 'executing' the deputy who stopped him. The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range. Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed. A state-wide manhunt ensued.

The low-life was found hiding in a wooded area with his gun. SWAT team officers open fired and hit the guy 68 times.

Now, here's the kicker:

Naturally, the media went nuts and asked why they shot him 68 times. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, told the Orlando Sentinel: 'because that's all the ammunition we had!’

Talk about an all-time classic answer! He’s got my Vote!

LOL uhh unless this is another occurence of startling similarity , the incident discussed here happened back in 2005/2006 , outside the Tampa Area when I lived in Central Florida . Remember it well ,I think specifically it was somewhere very close to Ybor City .

There was another case sometime in 2005 I think , where a guy in Central Florida got into a domestic , wife/girlfriend fled the trailer in the woods and called 911 . Three deputies were dispatched and guy ambushed them from the woods alongside driveway with either an SKS or a 12 gauge I dont recall . I was working within a couple miles and heard the shots . Whole neighborhood ( relatively rural ) was locked down for something like 5 square miles to box the guy in . I was escorted out in my work truck by a Sheriffs SWAT APC ( one of two in the area ) , and spent the rest of the work day back at the office watching it on TV with my boss , who was an ex Jacksonville Narcotics Cop and Navy SEAL member .

We kept making bets about whether or not the Cops would let the guy out of the woods alive . It finally ended around dusk , with another shootout , the perp wound up paralyzed from the waste down , and the Deputies took their sweet time transporting him out to the ambulance in the back of a pickup truck , over several miles of dirt fire roads ,making sure they hit every ditch and pothole they could find
