Best self defense ammo for a glock 23 40 cal
I have a glock 23 .40 cal. I have 40 S&W 165 gr. JHP. Bonded personal protection. Is this a good ammo for self defense? If there is a better ammo can you tell me what it is? I'm a retired Police Officer and carry my gun everywhere.

I carry cor-bon DPX. I have heard nothing but good things about them. Sorry no real experience with them but thats kind of a good thing right.

I carry Federal HST's, after seeing shots like these, don't think there could be anything better

DPX and HST are some of the best brands out with the newest technology. They really are great performers.
after that, IMO is the Speer gold Dot and Winchester Ranger SXT.
Speer makes a "short barrel" brand of ammo, if you have a 3" bbl or less I would suggest this.

CorBon 155 grain DPX or Federal 165 EFMJ are my personal choices.
