Mojitos Rule!!!
So, if this is a little discombobulated, it may be because I've had a bunch of mojitos.
But, if you mix Bacardi Rum, Sugar, (or if you are diabetic like I am, Splenda), fresh mint leaves, and lime juice, the rum has no taste, and you will, indeed, get a little screwed up. I've had, oh, five, tonight, and I am really liking them. ALOT!!!
I highly recommend them to all members here.
Anyway, I'm going to bed. Good night.

Re: Mojitos Rule!!!
They're good, but they're a chick's drink, so I stop at one. They're great if you wanna get a chick drunk... just like Mike's Hard Lemonade---- mess you up good!

Re: Mojitos Rule!!!
Why would you want to eliminate the taste of the rum?
That's kinda like making a tequila sunrise that doesn't taste like tequila!
I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.

Re: Mojitos Rule!!!
Wayyy too sweet of a drink. You're asking for a hangover if you pound them. But I agree, they are good especially in the summer.

Re: Mojitos Rule!!!
Rum + sugar water + mint + lime juice + soda water = great mojito.
Mojitos aren't chick drinks. They are great summer at the beach drinks. There's nothing like sitting in the shade on a hot day drinking mojitos and smoking a good cigar. Almost as good as sitting by a fire in the winter with a glass of whiskey or scotch and smoking a good cigar.
The upside of us opening up Cuban travel and trade is the mojitos in Havana and the cigars.

Wow, I now remember why I usually stay away from the computer when I drink. LOL
The good news is, I also made dinner, (Sausage and French Toast) without setting my house on fire or burning myself.

Re: Mojitos Rule!!!
I used to make mojitos by the bucketful for parties, those things are really really good but ditto about the hangover thing if you have too many. I felt awful, a good friend of mine brought his girlfriend over to a party I was hosting, and she hit the mojitos hard, not knowing that I made them as strong as you possibly could without making them taste gross. She got sooooooo sick that night / next morning and was totally out of it.
