Ar15 back drop pin TIGHT???
My first post...
I recently purchased a Bushmaster A3. The rear pin (closest to the butt) will not open easily. I have to use a wood dowel and hammer it open. The same goes for putting it back in to close the hinge. Anyone else have this issue and should the warranty go through Bushmaster or the place where I bought it?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Ar15 back drop pin TIGHT???
I own a bushmaster AR as well, and the rear take down pin is tight. I found that with mine, if I squeeze the upper and lower receivers together by grasping the lower behind the pistol grip, and the upper near the charging handle, then it loosens the grip on the pin and I can pull it out by hand.
Hope this helps, and welcome to PAFOAGovernment is not reason, it is not eloquence - it is force! Like fire it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. Never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action. - George Washington
